We are excited to welcome Ahan Palsole, our newest PhD candidate!

He recently completed his Master’s degree in quantum technology and engineering, where he gained experience in IR laser source development during his M.Sc. thesis “Tellruite and Chalcogenide Microspheres” at Universite Bourgogne Europe in Dijon.
Primarily an experimentalist, Ahan holds strengths in Photonics as well as Metrology, giving him several interesting competencies to bring to the table. He will begin his work at the Laboratory for Lightwave Metrology by helping develop novel dual-comb sampling systems for Field-Resolved Spectroscopy. We look forward to working with him and wish him the best of luck as he begins his PhD!
In his personal life, Ahan enjoys cooking, but more so eating good food and he can typically be found watching Formula 1 during the weekends.
