Last week part of the group attended the 11th workshop on Terahertz Technology and Applications 2024 organized at the Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern. The two day workshop consisted of six sessions, one of them a poster session covering different technological advances and applications in the terahertz, i.e. the far infrared, ranging from novel sources and detectors to machine learning and quantum imaging. Lakshya, Florian and Jan presented our work towards biomedical applications of terahertz spectroscopy and infrared fiels resolved spectroscopy. Lakshya also participated in the young scientist meeting preceding the the workshop.
