We welcome Aarya as a PhD student at the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, Jena and RPTU Kaiserslautern.
Before coming to Jena, Aarya completed a dual-degree Bachelors’ and Masters’ program (BS-MS) at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Bhopal, India.
Her Masters’ thesis focused on nonlinear optics, investigating the third-order nonlinear optical properties of 0-dimensional quantum dots.
Her PhD work at the Laboratory for Lightwave Metrology, she will develop novel field-resolved spectroscopy techniques for condensed biological samples, with an emphasis on high-throughput infrared flow cytometry.
