Aarya attends “Women in Physics” Conference

The German Conference for Women in Physics (Deutsche Physikerinnentagung) took place in Kiel from September 17-20, 2025. Our PhD student, Aarya, representing RPTU Kaiserslautern and Leibniz-IPHT Jena, attended the event to present her latest results. Her research focuses on building and operating an infrared-compatible microfluidic setup integrated with an imaging modality for inline imaging of biological cells with visible light, while simultaneously recording their broadband infrared fingerprints in flow.

The conference brought together women physicists from across Germany and various subfields of physics. It featured a range of workshops designed to help participants strengthen their scientific and professional skills.

This event serves as an inspiring platform to empower and encourage women in physics for excellence in scientific research. Professors and researchers from all career stages and regions of Germany shared their scientific work, discussed challenges faced in academia, and offered insights into how to navigate and overcome them.
