We welcome Tim Schönwald as a physics master’s student at the RPTU Kaiserslautern.

Previously, Tim received bachelor’s degrees in business administration & computer science, as well as physics, from the RPTU Kaiserslautern. In the frame of his physics bachelor’s thesis, he constructed, characterized, and frequency stabilized a distributed feedback diode laser system.

Tim’s master’s thesis at the Laboratory for Lightwave Metrology will focus on next-generation infrared field-resolved spectroscopy, including theoretical and experimental work in the field of nonlinear optics.
