We welcome Florian Lindinger as a PhD candidate at the RPTU Kaiserslautern.
Florian completed Master’s thesis at the LMU Munich, where he simulated and generated sub-10-fs high-power pulses spectrally centered at 2 μm, resulting from soliton self-compression in photonic-crystal fibers.
His PhD thesis builds on his expertise in the field of fiber pulse compression, toward further developing infrared field-resolved spectroscopy for biomedical applications such as high-throughput flow cytometry and sub-wavelength hyper spectral imaging of live cells and tissue.
